Finding Balance

Finding Balance within our soul is so important. We all have a past and out of it’s ashes many, many of us have learnt how to bring balance into our lives from living through the challenging experiences.
No we don’t always learn, so we keep coming back into the same old same old scenarios, sometimes with new souls, until we do learn the soul lesson.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month
During this month of mental health awareness I have found more verse has channelled through. So today I am dedicating this verse to all who are #EmergingProud and standing true in their own authentic soul essence.
I also delicate this verse in memory of Florence Nightingale who was born on this day 12 May 1820. She was a stalwart epitome of kindness, compassion and knowledge. Out of her heart emerged a nursing profession to be proud of. Florence Nightingale has been a spirit guide in my times of weary need, standing vigil at the bottom of the bed. I have felt her calm presence and her soothing words during times of heartache. I feel her sadness now as she sees the legacy of the modern nursing profession she so lovingly nurtured into being wavering under the pressures of this modern world we live in. Wouldn’t it be great if we could all work together in unison sharing our knowledge to bring together a holistic health service where nurses can truly ‘nurse’ once more? Listen here to a rare recording of the gentle voice of ‘The Lady with the Lamp‘, Florence Nightingale.

Finding Balance

As with most things, there are two sides to mental health, both to be equally acknowledged for the lessons they bring. My wish for you is that you find within the words of verse, ‘Finding Balance‘ something which touches your soul.

LOVE unconditional

As many of you may know, mental health awareness is very dear to my heart, for it is my belief that no-one need suffer unnecessarily. Thinking kindly of others, asking ‘what happened to you?‘ Deep listening to their soul with compassion rather than popping on a plaster which only masks the traumas, is for me, the way forward.

Enlightening and educating others about mental health brought the latest publication ‘LOVE unconditional – a short journey in time through the eyes of mental health’ into being. Written within the pages for everyone, for no matter who you are, there is something within the words and art that will touch your very soul.

And for all the medical, educational, science and health service professionals in the field of mental health awareness these true though tame in nature poems and art not only shines a light on the feelings experienced within turmoil crises. It will we hope, awaken sparks of curiosity in those professionals who truly do wish to support those who are in their care through to their fullest recovery possible.
